Jeff Chopin 
President & Managing Partner, Edgewood Partners 

Jeff Chopin has nearly two decades of leadership in commercial real estate management. As President and Managing Partner of Edgewood Partners, he leads the firm’s overall strategy, operations, and client relationships while driving growth, overseeing the managed portfolio, and ensuring best-in-class service across all properties. Prior to joining Edgewood, Jeff served as Executive Vice President of Property Management at a Southeastern real estate investment firm, where he oversaw a portfolio of 110 properties valued at over $500 million.

Since joining Edgewood, he has helped take the company to new heights by expanding its footprint, elevating operational standards, and implementing a hands-on, relationship-driven approach that delivers responsive service to tenants and maximizes long-term value for owners. Under Jeff’s leadership, Edgewood is committed to helping property owners grow their real estate wealth through proactive management, transparent communication, and strategic operational efficiency. 

A lifelong learner and industry leader, Jeff holds a Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and a Finance degree from Loyola University New Orleans. His credentials include Certified Property Manager® (CPM®), Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM®), and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He is also pursuing both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through BOMA. 

Jeff is deeply engaged in the commercial real estate community, having served on the boards of both the Colorado and Alabama Chapters of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) from 2017-2021. He currently serves on the board of the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, U.S. Green Building Council, and the CCIM Institute. His contributions to the industry have been recognized with multiple honors, including Accredited Residential Manager of the Year in 2017, Certified Property Manager of the Year in 2023 and inclusion in the Birmingham Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate in 2025. 

Beyond the office, Jeff is passionate about giving back, having served on several nonprofit boards and supporting a wide range of local causes, including Make-A-Wish Alabama. He and his wife, Kelly, are proud parents of two adventurous kids.
